Overview
The Information Technology program of Rutgers University combines the science courses from a tradition MS with the business curriculum from an MBA. Students will learn the principles and application of information technology, computer science, project management and planning, team work, communication skills, and fundamentals of making proper financial and technical decisions.

- Students must demonstrate prior experience in computer science, computer engineering or information technology as a major (undergraduate) or as a working professional.
- Students should have had the equivalent of a programming course and data structures undergraduate course or have enough background to enter these graduate courses.
- Without this background, students are required to take introductory programming courses (these courses can count towards your graduate degree).
