Overview
The Systems and Control programme offered by Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) provides top-quality expertise and skills for successful professional careers in research, technology development and design.
The world of systems and control guides more of our lives than most of us realize. The manufacturing and semiconductor industry, transportation, the medical profession and even the family home are increasingly dependent on it. As the world becomes more and more automated, robotic and guided, the impact of systems and control will spread even further. It is an important discipline in many fields, and one in which you could play a leading role.
Systems and control can be applied to a wide range of systems. Applications can be found in robotics (medical, household and industrial), mechatronic systems, pick-and-place positioning systems as well as in automotive, energy and (chemical) process industries. It also play a critical role in the realization of ITER, the largest nuclear fusion test reactor in the world.
Career
Graduate engineers can take up a broad range of positions. There is a strong demand for systems and control engineers both in the Eindhoven region and further afield.
Especially in Eindhoven and the surrounding area, there are numerous large and small high-tech companies working in the field of positioning systems and vehicle subsystems.
In addition, many graduates of this master’s program will find employment in the automotive, energy and process industry, in engineering companies, in research institutes and in the software industry.
