Overview
The Aerospace Engineering MSc program from University of Texas at Austin aims to enable the student to attain a deeper understanding of aerospace engineering fundamentals, a knowledge of recent developments, and the ability as a master’s degree student to participate in research and as a doctoral degree student to conduct individual research. The goals are accomplished through coursework, seminars, and active research programs.

General requirements
- Hold a bachelor of science degree in aerospace engineering or engineering mechanics, or in a closely related field of engineering from an accredited institution.
- Have a minimum 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) grade point average (GPA) in junior- and senior-level work and in any graduate work already completed.
- General Test of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
- Have taken the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) (international students).
- Be recommended for admission by the ASE Graduate Studies Committee.
