Today’s daily life would not be possible without electrical engineering. It solves challenges in every aspect of our daily lives from energy supply and communications to health care and the environment.
The department of Electrical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) tackles these challenges through nine research groups, each with its own specific knowledge and research focus. The research within Electrical Engineering is more broadly categorized within three core themes:
- The Connected World: the future of communication
- Care and Cure: electrical engineering in healthcare
- Smart & Sustainable Society: handling energy in a sustainable way
Finding a job is not a problem for our alumni. They typically start their careers in research or product development at a high-tech company. As the program is taught in English, our alumni can also easily find jobs at companies or universities abroad.
Moreover, the broad understanding and systematic way of thinking you gain from the Master’s program of Electrical Engineering opens up opportunities in other fields as well.
