  • Students interested in the graduate certificate in academic advising must apply to the K-State Graduate School and be admitted as nondegree-seeking students before enrolling in classes. Apply using the U.S. Citizens and Permanent residents application form.
  • Admission decisions will be based on a combination of factors, including prior academic achievement, the nature of a student's academic preparation and the relatedness of the program's offering to a student's goals.
  • In general, a student with a bachelor's degree with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 from an accredited institution can expect to be admitted to the program.
