Their top-tier faculty is comprised of an elite group of financial academics from the John Molson School of Business and other leading business schools. Many of our faculty hold both PhDs and Chartered Financial Analyst charters. In addition, a good number of our faculty are active in the industry and can supplement their lectures with references to current issues and real examples based on their personal experience in the market.The Investment Management program is offered by Concordia University Montréal.
The CFA Body of Knowledge™, which is the basis of the three Chartered Financial Analyst exams which must be passed as part of attaining the Chartered Financial Analyst Charter, is completely integrated into our curriculum.
MBA Year 1/CFA Level I - focuses on investment valuation and portfolio management tools and concepts and provides an overview of asset valuation and portfolio management processes.
MBA Year 2/CFA Level II - focuses on asset valuation. Students apply the tools and concepts emphasized in Year I to analyse and value investments.
MBA Year 3/CFA Level III - further explores the discipline of portfolio management. Students demonstrate a working knowledge of the portfolio management process, applying the concepts learned in Years I and II.
