The Engineering Mathematics program at Dalhousie University also prepares the student for work on engineering problems in research centres and industry. The program is designed for students who have already completed an undergraduate program in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Engineering.

- Four-year Bachelor’s degree
- Candidates must satisfy the general requirements for admission to the Faculty of Graduate Studies. They also require at least two full year mathematics classes at the third year level, one of them in differential equations. Applicants without these requirements may be admitted to a Qualifying Program.
- Degree granted by university of recognized standing
- Complete the graduate application form (online application)
- Pay $115 application fee
- An official academic transcript and degree certificate (if degree conferral not stated on Transcripts) for each post-secondary institution attended
- Two academic reference letters
