Overview
The vision is to facilitate education and research to develop students and practitioners as lifelong learners and innovators; collaborate with institutions and individuals engaged in the practice of forensic science to enrich the student learning experience; supply highly qualified forensic scientists to enhance the overall quality of forensic disciplines; participate in new areas of research and enhance public security; lead in the delivery of forensic science education through emerging technologies; and pursue and support cross-disciplinary collaborations that strengthen the program and enrich the graduate education process.
Curriculum
The Oklahoma State University Master's program in Forensic Sciences offers online pathways in Arson, Explosives, Firearm and Tool Mark Investigations (AEFTI); Forensic Investigative Sciences (FIS); and Forensic Science Administration (FSA). Our curriculum offers a solid background in forensic sciences and specialized topics such as blast injuries and effects, criminalistics, forensic leadership, ethics, the law and expert evidence, psychology, and organizational development.
