Not least through having the only faculty of veterinary medicine in the Netherlands, its content has been assembled across an impressive faculty from the Health sciences; Utrecht Institute for Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS) and the interfaculty Institute for Risk Assessment Sciences (IRAS). In addition, Utrecht Science Park accommodates Utrecht Life Sciences, a strategic alliance between academia, public institutions private organizations and government in order to drive innovations in human and veterinary health care.
