The Mathematical Engineering programme at the Politecnico Di Milano combines a solid background in basic science with a sound knowledge of modern methods and technologies, with a persistent synergy between applied mathematics and engineering. 

When applying, the prospective student has to choose one out of the following three tracks: Computational Science and Engineering; Applied Statistics; Quantitative Finance.

  • A Bachelor degree in Mathematical Engineering or in a related area, with a solid background in the core disciplines: applied mathematics, computer science, physics, engineering.
  • If the university qualification is not yet available at the moment of the application, an official provisional certificate can be provided.
  • An official translation into Italian or English of the degree or of the provisional certificate is required in case the original document is in a language other than Italian, English, French or Spanish.
  • Curriculum vitae is a written description of your work experience, educational background and skills. Maximum 2 pages long.
