Overview
As a society, we have entered an age of digitisation – the fourth industrial revolution, or Industry 4.0. This puts new demands on future engineers. This Robotics and Automation (distance, 2 years) program at University West is taught in virtual environments (distance learning) and all your studies have a close link to industry.
Key Features
There is an ongoing digitisation all around the world, and this has brought about an explosive growth in the use of robots and automation solutions. This development implicates not only industry but entire cultures.
The courses that make up the programme offer you in-depth knowledge of smart factories and prepare you well for contributing to their development. You learn design and programming of robots and automation systems. The entire programme has been built through the collaboration of industry and researchers at University West.
Last but not least, the job market for graduates of this programme is extremely good. You benefit both from the quality of your programme here at University West and the fact that Sweden is known as one of the most innovative countries in the world – and is a leader in the field of automation. A Master’s Degree in Robotics and Automation will open doors to further studies and research or a career in industry, both in Sweden and abroad.
