Within the Applied Physics - Optics and Photonics offered by Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), you choose at least three optics/photonics electives and take a deep dive into the most recent scientific and technological developments in the field.

Programme Structure
Courses include:
- Throughout the first year, you engage in a series of industrial lectures, company visits, and social events, gaining exposure to industry insights and expanding your network. An integral part of the program includes a paid industrial internship of at least 2.5 months within the optics/photonics ecosystem.
- During the second year, you immerse yourself in a graduation project within a top-notch research group at TU/e or in an R&D department of a company. You also enhance your skill set through a week-long camp focused on optics/photonics careers and entrepreneurial training.

General requirements
- A sufficient level of academic knowledge, skills and competences.
- A Bachelor's degree from a university on the "Double First Class University Plan.
- A Bachelor’s degree from a university on the Project 211 list, only if awarded before September 2021.
- A Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 75% of the scale maximum. The CGPA requirement must have already been met at time of application. Conditional acceptance on CGPA is not possible.
- Specific subject related knowledge and skills depending on the program of your choice (see check your eligibility)
