Overview
During this Health Management program at AKAD Hochschulen, students are equipped with specific leadership skills in the healthcare sector and qualified to recruit and retain employees in medicine and nursing. The specializations teach specific skills in the pharmaceutical industry and digital skills with regard to business and leadership.
Specialists and managers from the healthcare sector who are looking to take further career steps after their bachelor's degree have come to the right place here. New, exciting specializations with the Master's in Health Management also open up for Bachelor's graduates in economics, health and care management, nursing sciences and natural scientists.
This course provides you with methods and knowledge for recruiting and retaining personnel. They alleviate the shortage of nursing and doctors as well as general personnel shortages through instruments that focus on employees. To do this, you will know the legal and ethical framework in the healthcare system and develop specific leadership skills.
Careers
- Management role in nursing facilities: You are in charge of an inpatient or outpatient care facility.
- Medical Advisor: In the pharmaceutical industry, you will take a leading role in ensuring that processes are designed to be lean, efficient and digital, and will be responsible for the interfaces between health and organization or profitability.
- Product manager: You explain and explain complex healthcare issues in a qualified manner.
- Health start-up lead: Your broad digital skills and your knowledge of creating innovations are crucial for setting up companies in the healthcare sector on the path to success.
