
Overview
The Food Security Major (MSc AgriFoodSecur) from Curtin University will cover the science and technology of crop and livestock production and food manufacture to achieve sustainable production against environmental constraints.
Specific skills developed within the program include soil health and the use of alternative fertilisers, aquaculture food security and food product development. A research project in an area relevant to agricultural systems, food science and food security is an important component of the program.

- Acquire professional skills in sustainable management of soil, crop, livestock and food manufacture for food security,
- Acquire, use and contribute to new agricultural and food scientific knowledge and expertise relating to a broad range of professional situations informed by food security requirements, recognising the importance of continuous training and education,
