Overview
This Management of Innovation and Business Development concentration fromCopenhagen Business School (CBS) will not only teach you innovation in well-established companies, but also innovation as part of the establishment of new companies. The focus is on entrepreneurship in relation to innovation and the start-up of a new company based on recent scientific research in the field of entrepreneurship and cases from the real world. Entrepreneurship involves, among other things, creating new businesses, developing business plans, recognising, capturing and exploiting opportunities, and assessing the advantages and disadvantages of a start-up. In order to do so, you are also provided with a thorough understanding of company organisation, project management tools, and relevant tools in management and financial control.
Career
You will be qualified for positions in a broad range of business functions in knowledge-intensive companies, e.g. as management consultant, controller and business developer, in jobs relating to project and product management and organisational development or as entrepreneur and manager of innovative start-ups.
