The 2nd-cycle study programme in Educational Mathematics leads to "magisterij" (master's degree). It is implemented by the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. Graduates are intended to employ in educational institutions as mathematics teachers or may continue doctoral studies in mathematical or educational fields.


The programme is intended for students who already possess solid knowledge of undergraduate mathematics and are now ready to acquire the pedagogical competencies for teaching practice. The programme provides pedagogical, didactic, and mathematical contents, which are closely related to teaching mathematics in primary and all secondary schools (with an emphasis on gymnasium – high school).
