Funding

We don't want you to be discouraged from university study due to financial reasons so we offer scholarships, awards and bursaries. They aren't like a loan because you don't need to pay them back.

We award them for different reasons based on your personal circumstances, such as academic achievement. You can use the money to reduce your tuition fees or to assist with expenses.

You could be entitled for a loan from Student Finance of up to £10,906 for taught and research master's courses. This is a non means-tested loan to help cover your fees, other course costs and living costs.

Studyportals Tip: Students can search online for independent or external scholarships that can help fund their studies. Check the scholarships to see whether you are eligible to apply. Many scholarships are either merit-based or needs-based.

The Global Study Awards: get funded with up to £10,000 to study abroad

Together with the ISIC Association and British Council IELTS, Studyportals offers you the chance to receive up to £10000 to expand your horizon and study abroad. We want to ultimately encourage you to study abroad in order to experience and explore new countries, cultures and languages.
