There are growing career opportunities for professional workplace-based innovators, applied researchers and change leaders. Students will advance skills and expertise highly valued in a workplace or research environment and will be able to research and develop projects, and lead change initiatives in a business environment.
Graduates will be able to use this qualification for their professional development and to develop the skills required to undertake new roles within a business or other enterprise group.
Graduates may choose to progress to doctoral study at New Zealand and overseas institutions.

- All candidates must:
- Have an accepted research project plan/proof of concept or business plan and are able to meet all assessment criteria detailed for the Postgraduate Certificate in Innovation and
- Have had their research project plan, business plan or proof of concept approved by Wintec and by an incubator mentor or an industry partner for implementation.
- Candidates must also:
- Sign appropriate agreements and be willing to comply with agreed protocols related to the research project.
