What will you do at University of Adelaide's Master of Food and Nutrition Science?

Our Master of Food and Nutrition Science is designed to develop specialist skills and empower future food visionaries. You will:

understand the importance of a secure, sustainable and healthy food supply
formulate and package foods with specific functional and nutritional properties
expand your knowledge of nutrigenomics and metabolic nutrition
apply sensory and flavour science to new product development
discover innovative and emerging processing and preservation techniques
critically evaluate legislative and regulatory policy
build peer relationships in your own learning space, within the University’s dedicated Food Innovation Laboratory
complete an independent capstone research project.

Successful completion of an Australian year 12 qualification with a minimum pass in an accepted English language subject
Qualifications that meet minimum English requirements
Relevant Bachelor degree or equivalent with a minimum GPA of 5.0 in a Science related field including (but not restricted to) Agriculture, Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Plant and General Science and Engineering.

Please note: if you have a relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent, in the fields of food science, food technology, food engineering and nutrition, with a minimum GPA of 5.0 then please consider applying to the Master of Global Food and Nutrition Science instead.
