Overview
The Wind Power Project Management programme from Uppsala University emphasises applied knowledge through frequent guest lectures provided by experts and by using state of the art simulation and planning methods as well as excursions to wind farms and into wind turbines. This programme lays the foundation for and opens the door into the wind power industry.
Critical thinking and skills in oral and written communication are equal elements of professional competence and important parts of the curriculum. These skills are practiced throughout the programme and applied in the thesis where you will independently conduct research.
Career
This programme prepares you for global management positions across the wide spectrum of the wind energy industry. Actors within the field are for example, companies operating wind farms, consulting firms, local and national governments, component manufacturing and supply chain companies, research institutions or other organisations working with renewable energy and/or environmental issues.

A Bachelor's degree, equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen, from an internationally recognised university. The main field of study must be within engineering, science or social science.
Selection: Students are selected based on:
- a total appraisal of quantity and quality of previous university studies; and
- a statement of purpose (1 page).
