The Master of Science in Management and Engineering in Production Systems (MME) is a unique programme conducted as a combination of two European high level universities well reputed in their specific fields.


Graduates of the programme will have gained profound skills in management and engineering, being prepared for leading positions in industrial engineering companies. The M.Sc. also qualifies graduates for a further career path at universities, e.g. for PhD studies.

    The IELTS – or the International English Language Test System – tests your English-language abilities (writing, listening, speaking, and reading) on a scale of 1.00–9.00. Academic Requirements

  • This programme does not recognise GRE® scores.

    The GRE® General Test is a widely administered admissions test that measures the skills needed in today's graduate and business school programs worldwide. The GRE® General Test contains three sections - Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical Writing. Three scores are reported: a Verbal Reasoning score on a 130 - 170 score scale in one-point increments, a Quantitative Reasoning score on a 130 - 170 score scale in one-point increments, and an Analytical Writing score on a 0 - 6 score scale in half-point increments.

  • Please apply online and follow the steps of the online system.
  • Application deadline is 1 March of each year for international students and 15 July for EU/German students. Please note: the documents have to reach us via post by this deadline!
Academic Requirements for MSc. in Management and Engineering
  • Bachelor of Engineering or Science in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, awarded by an internationally recognized university-level institution.
  • Good performance in your undergraduate studies.

Work Experience

At least 1 year(s) of work experience are required.

Practical professional experiences of as a rule not less than one year is required. This can be completed in whole or in part as practical training or in form of work experience in relevant areas for the master´s course of study during or after the first recognised university degree.
