Why Earn Your Reading Education Degree at Saint Leo University?
The Masters in Education (M.Ed.) Reading Concentration (Multiple States) is composed of the same courses that are in our Masters in Education Reading Concentration so there is no change in the course requirements. The only difference is that instead of taking the Florida Reading certification test for certification at the end of the program, candidates with a teaching certificate from a state other than Florida, would be required to take and pass their state's reading certification exam. In many states this is the Praxis assessment. After graduating from the program the graduate can apply for certification in their state of residency.
The courses in this concentration have been designed to align with the State of Florida course requirements for reading specialist certification. This program is a state approved program.
Now is the time to earn your online masters degree in reading education at Saint Leo University. Raise your profile with the College of Education & Social Science's fully online Master of Education (MEd) with a concentration Reading.
