Logistics and Supply Chain Management emphasise the practical analytical aspects of logistics problems as well as the fundamentals of management science and supply chain management.
Learning outcomes
The taught element of the programme at Lancaster University - Management School includes modules that help you to improve your professional skills, as well as your analytical abilities. The taught modules end in May and are followed by a significant real-life project that runs until mid-September. In this, you will develop professional skills by working for 16 weeks as a consultant to one of our client companies, whilst being supervised by a member of staff. This is an excellent preparation for the world of work.
There is a large demand for logistics and supply chain analysts with good modelling skills. Graduates from this course can expect to work as logistics analysts, supply chain analysts, business consultants, business analysts and database managers.
