The Transportation Information Engineering and Control degree at Shandong University

Aim of the program

The program aims to educate the next generation of Transportation Information Engineering and Control talent to be able to compete with their peers in the global job market. The research content of this discipline mainly includes signal optimization technology of traffic systems, intelligent monitoring technology, intelligent road safety technology, etc. Effectively integrate advanced technologies such as DeepLearning, Computer Vision, Geographic Information Systems, and Artificial Intelligence in a cross-disciplinary manner, so that students can have an in-depth understanding of intelligent control theory and application, traffic automation and control, intelligent traffic system, control system computer simulation, and other aspects of professional knowledge and apply it to the transportation system to realize the informatization, intelligence, and security of the system. Through extensive training and research practice, the student will graduate and hold a Master’s degree enabling him or her to work in Transportation Information Engineering and research advanced Traffic Control Technology, Traffic InformationService Technology, Vehicle to Everything (V2X), Vehicle Scheduling, AutomaticTransportation and Positioning Technology, and Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS), etc. Realize their own value and contribute to the development of the transportation industry
