Key Facts and Outcomes

The Speech-Language Pathology - Online program involves the in-depth study of the various disorders of communication coupled with practicum experience. Students at the Master of Arts level are expected to acquire those skills which would enable them to identify and manage a full range of speech/language, swallowing, and hearing disorders. The Online MA Program is a collaboration with The University of Akron; therefore students admitted to UC will complete academic courses through both University of Cincinnati and Akron.

Complete/enroll for prerequisite courses.

Ensure that you quality for the program's distance requirement - you must live within 4 hours of driving distance to the university.

Submit full application via the Graduate School

Three (3) letters of recommendation (LOR) are needed and it is strongy recommended that at least 2 of the reference letters be written by instructors who can speak to your academic abilities and potential success as a graduate student.

Transcripts from each college or university (including community colleges even if you took college classes during high school) attended must be sent (address to send transcripts will be provided in the invitation to submit the full application)
