Athletic Training

Overview

 You will learn through extensive hands-on experiences with athletes and excellent classroom and laboratory instruction from experienced, caring faculty. The program will prepare you to become a highly qualified health care professional who collaborates with physicians to provide preventative services, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention and rehabilitation for athletes and patients, and pass the national certification examination.

Mission

The mission of the Athletic Training Program at University of the Pacific is to empower students to become disciplined, self-reliant, responsible leaders in their careers and communities by providing superior hands-on, student-centered learning experiences and professional education in athletic training.

The goals of the Athletic Training Program are to graduate students:
