The University of Mumbai LL.M. Course follows the Semester System and is of a duration of 2 years (Four Semesters). The academic year, which consists of two terms, begins in July and ends in May.
Department of Law within the prescribed time, immediately after the declaration of the results of the LL.B. degree examination of this University held in first half of every year.
Admission forms for the LL.M. degree course shall be referred to the Committee comprising of Head of University Department of Law and the recognized Post-graduate teachers of the University.

- In case of foreign national it is mandatory that Ministry of Education or Indian Embassy in your country or your Country Mission i.e. your Embassy or Consulate in India attests the mark sheets.
- It is mandatory for all students to produce the same documents in original at the time of Firm Admission submission, as have been uploaded at the time of filling the form.
- Only students having Bachelor Degree are eligible for Masters Admission.
- All foreign students from Non-English speaking countries have to appear for English Proficiency Test (EPT)
