Program Details
The Family Right from Shahid Beheshti University welcomes collaboration of specialists from a variety of related fields including psychology, psychiatry, counseling, social work, sociology, anthropology, education, law, family health, and genetics. Presently, the FRI operates with four active research departments: fundamental studies on families, families with special needs, and family health and parenting.
The institute currently contains a research and observation laboratory equipped with a closed-circuit television and a full-size one-way mirror, a testing and assessment laboratory, a specialized library with valuable family related sources in Persian and English, and a media and communication center. After its establishment, the FRI helped the foundation of a specialized family clinic in order to be able to provide professional service to those families who are in need.
