The Master of Arts in Public Relations at Indiana University - Purdue University Indianapolis is designed to prepare you for professional public relations positions in a wide variety of industries.
You will participate in real-world learning experiences, including public relations campaigns and crisis-communication plans for local organizations. Past students have even collaborated with the Indiana Department of Homeland Security.
This professional graduate program offers coursework online, in a hybrid format, or at night on IUPUI’s downtown Indianapolis campus in modern, state-of-the-art facilities.
Course topics include PR research and evaluation and tactics and techniques, starting your own PR business, managing a firm, creating online content such as blogs and social media, completing a successful PR campaign, and more. You will be prepared for management positions in public relations firms, corporations, government agencies, nonprofits, associations, and health and life sciences organizations.
