Overview
The Family Medicine and Community Practice graduate from Makerere University will manage most emergencies and rare but important conditions; recognize, stabilize and refer appropriately all those cases that need more complex investigations and treatment; manage resources for health; promote health; prevent disease and provide palliation in an expert, person-centred and family-oriented continuum of care while providing leadership to health care teams.

This doctor will adopt the practice of life-long learning, life-long teaching and professional conduct while practicing Family Medicine and Community- Oriented Primary Health Care.
