About Dual Degree in Nursing Leadership and Management and Master of Public Health at George Washington University
The 60-credit program combines coursework from both nursing and public health degree requirements. The dual program provides nurses with the skills needed to develop health initiatives and improve wellness across populations. Such a program is essential to improving the social determinants of health for populations.
The MSN curriculum sharpens future nursing leaders’ skills to implement improvements in the healthcare system and healthcare policies. The MPH curriculum provides students with the necessary skills to be leaders in the design of population and community health programs in the United States and globally.
