At Istanbul Sehir University the Political Science and International Relations (with Thesis) Graduate Program, we have eight full-time faculty members supported by part-time lecturers to provide students with the very best training and mentoring. Our students are expected to take both thematically oriented (e.g. civil society, international security, ethnic conflict, ancient and modern political philosophy) and empirically oriented (European, Eurasian, Middle Eastern politics) graduate level courses.
You will also be encouraged to choose two elective courses from other disciplines, for example philosophy, sociology, psychology, history, and law in order to build bridges across the disciplines and gain a comprehensive command of social scientific inquiry.
Despite being a young faculty, ŞEHİR Political Science and International Relations is already increasing its international reputation with our graduates going on to be admitted to distinguished doctoral programs both at home and abroad.
