The Sciences, Technologies and Environmental Management course at University of A Coruña has been blessed with a wide teaching path from the Faculty of Science, firstly as an actual qualification from the Universidad de A Coruña within the COMETT Programme of the E.U. of collaboration between universities and industry then later as an Official Postgraduate Programme and as a University Master’s.

Programme Structure

  • The specialisation obtained in the Master’s improves the graduate’s professional skills. All students who complete the Master’s must do a job at the end which lasts 3 months, including the mandatory practicals with applied focus of a research or professional nature. In the case of the research focus, this is developed under the supervision of a researcher belonging to an accredited research group and will be used as initiation to research for those students who wish to continue with a doctorate. 
  • The work at the end of the Master’s with a professional focus is done in a company or public institution where the student can apply the concepts and skills which he or she has learned in an actual professional environment.

  • Direct access for graduates in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Environmental Sciences, Marine Sciences, Pharmacy, Biochemistry.
  • Access by other graduates in science careers and technology-based degrees is possible: Geology, Physics, Food Technology, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, etc. In this regard, as part of the Tutorial Action Plan of the master, recommendations will be made to the students on which is the most appropriate specialization based on their previous knowledge.
  • Access of foreign students from educational systems outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) will be carried out according to the academic regulations and procedures of the UDC.
