Program Description

Airlines, airports, aircraft manufacturers, MRO’s, lessors and aerospace firms large and small now rely on business analytics for revenue, customer relationship and supplier, fleet and crew management, fuel optimization, route expansion, airport service improvements and fraud prevention, among other vital functions.

This is opening a wide range of career paths for professionals trained to collect, understand and use data to make sound business decisions and drive future innovation.

Embry-Riddle’s aerospace business analytics degree combines concepts in machine learning with the mathematics of probability to explore data science and covers key concepts in optimization, integer programming, decision making, machine learning through clustering, neural networks, time series and memory-based networks. This is coupled with hands-on learning in statistical software such as Python, R and @Risk.

Students in the Aerospace Business Analytics program of the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University  are taught by faculty with the academic credentials and real-world experience that can articulate the value of their learning. Our faculty members have written leading textbooks and have discipline-specific expertise that includes data analytics, marketing, management and accounting.

As with all business courses offered at the David B. O'Maley College of Business, students will get discipline-specific knowledge of aerospace applications and explore how concepts such as RASM, CASM, load factor and yield are specifically applied in the aviation industry.

In addition, Embry-Riddle has a long history of providing graduate degrees to working professionals who want to boost their current careers or begin new ones, and our courses are tailored for those who might be juggling other responsibilities.

Students enrolled in this program can also attend presentations and interact with leading experts in the industry during the monthly colloquiums hosted at the Daytona Beach Campus by the David B. O’Maley College of Business.
