Overview
The master’s program in Urban Management is a three-semester continuing education international master’s degree. Courses take place in Berlin during the first two semesters. You write your master’s thesis in the third semester. For your master’s thesis you can choose a topic in your own country or Germany.
About Urban Management at TU Berlin
The program aims to equip you with the specialist knowledge required to practically address the problems involved in the management and design of such spatial transformation processes. Teaching is based upon examples drawn from real situations in a global context and places particular emphasis on combining various fields of action which are often treated in isolation. You will acquire a wide range of knowledge relating to organizational, administrative, legal, and fiscal issues in areas such as urban planning and renewal, housing development, environmental sciences, the planning of social infrastructures, and transport management. The program also focuses closely on the skills required for management, communication, and applying for positions.
