General requirements
- Either a BA degree in English Studies or any BA or MA degree (if completed in English, no language exam is necessary) but if the degree is not in English Studies then the applicant is expected to have completed at least 32 credits’ worth of English/American Studies-related courses (in linguistics, literature, history/civilization, language pedagogy and/or English Language Development/language improvement) at tertiary education level;
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL: 63 scores or higher) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS: Band 5 or above); or any other internationally accepted language exam in English (minimally at B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR));
- Motivation letter (personal/professional statement);
- (Online) interview.
