Overview
About Master in Central and East European, Russian and Eurasian Studies (Ceeres) at Ilia State University
Within the framework of Erasmus+ joint programmes competition, the joint master’s degree programme of the international consortium comprising 8 universities in Central and East European, Russian and Eurasian Studies (CEERES) has been funded.
Apart from Ilia State University, the consortium comprises the universities as follows: The University of Glasgow (Great Britain), The University of Tartu (Estonia), Corvinus University (Hungary), the Jagiellonian University (Poland), Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (Ukraine), Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod (Russia), and KIMEP University (Kazakhstan).
The joint programme launches admissions for fall. Students having chosen the Caucasus Studies will spend the second year of their studies at ISU and obtain academic degrees from three universities:
- Master of Arts in Social Science (Central and East European, Russian and Eurasia Studies), in Estonian Magistrikraad sotsiaalteadustes (Kesk- ja Ida-Euroopa, Venemaa ja Euraasia uuringud, The University of Tartu (Estonia);
- International Master in Central and East European, Russian and Eurasian Studies, The University of Glasgow, Glasgow, Scotland, the UK;
- Master of Caucasian Studies, Ilia State University, Tbilisi, Georgia.
