A four-year baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution (with at least a 2.75 grade point average)
College transcripts
Copy of teaching license (licensure-only applicants)
Personal statement describing reasons for pursuing a career in special education and one's ability to complete online coursework
Resume/CV
Two (2) professional letters of recommendation addressing one's potential for advanced graduate study
Applicants seeking their first teaching license must apply for the special education master's degree program. Coursework will include the courses necessary to earn an intervention specialist's license.
Applicants who have teaching licenses in a field other than special education may choose to apply for the master's degree or the licensure-only option.
