About Political Science to Law Accelerated Program at Saint Louis University
Students are eligible to apply to the political science/J.D. program any time in their undergraduate career. Students must maintain a 3.50 cumulative GPA to continue in the accelerated program.
After having completed 75 credits, students will submit an application to SLU's School of Law. If admitted to SLU Law, these students will begin their J.D. program in their fourth year. The first year of law school coursework will count as elective credit toward the undergraduate bachelor's degree. Thus, the College of Arts and Sciences will award students their degrees after the successful completion of their first year of law school.

- There is no application fee to apply for undergraduate admission to SLU.
- Send transcripts of all secondary work.
- Submit proof of your English language proficiency.
- These are scores from any standardized test you may have taken to prepare for college- TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, SAT, ACT or Duolingo score. All of our international applicants are required to demonstrate their English proficiency, and these tests can help us make that determination.
- If you do not meet SLU’s direct entry requirements, we encourage you to apply to the Pathway or English Language programs offered by INTO Saint Louis University.
