General requirements
- a) Students who attain a minimum of a H2.2 standard in Year 3 of the BEng (Hons) in Structural Engineering programme are eligible to apply to transfer to Year 4 of the MEng in Structural Engineering programme. b) Advanced entry for holders of other qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering is considered on a case by case basis.
- c) Typically graduates with a BEng in Civil Engineering award, of a minimum standard of Merit 2 or with appropriate professional experience in the industry, are eligible to apply for direct entry to Year 3 of the BEng Hons in Structural Engineering programme with a requirement for progression to the MEng programme of a H2.2 standard in Year 3.
- d) Advanced entry to Year 4 or Year 5 of the programme is considered on a case by case basis for graduates with BEng Hons or BE awards in Civil or Structural Engineering. Bridging studies may be necessary.
