Programme Structure

  • This one-year master's programme was developed by the Computer Vision & Data Science professorship. You will work on research projects in the field of deep learning and computer vision, creating and managing annotated and balanced datasets, optimizing algorithms and making them scalable so they can be applied in practice. Specific subjects include machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, mathematics, and programming
  • The projects you work on are from the field and you will need to not only use your skills for applied research but also take ethics, communication skills and professional development into consideration. At the end of the master's, you will produce a paper and a prototype of your innovative solution for a real-life problem.

  • To be admitted to one of our master’s programmes, you will need to meet the admission requirements as outlined in Dutch Higher Education law. For an international Master’s programme at NHL Stenden you will need a relevant bachelor’s degree that is at is at least equivalent to an NLQF 6/EQF 6 level (Dutch/European Qualifications Framework).*

  • All non-EU/EEA applicants are required to submit an English proficiency test with their application to show that their English language skills are at a high enough level to succeed in their studies.
