Enhance your career with this human resources certification
Beyond the core curriculum, the Human Resources Management program of Fanshawe College also offers courses in software, Canadian employment law, management of strategic HR projects and professional communications.
You’ll also have the opportunity to apply to further develop your consulting skills with the option of substituting two courses for the intensive community consultancy program, working with live clients to solve real problems. A part-time offering for this program is available.
This program includes all nine credits required for the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designations from the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA).

- A Two- or Three-Year College Diploma, or a Degree (Note: minimum 'C+' average or cumulative 2.5 GPA)
- Acceptable combination of related work experience and post-secondary education as judged by the College
- Five years of work experience in the human resources field as judged by the College to be equivalent
- Applicants whose first language is not English will be required to demonstrate proficiency in English
