Overview
Physiology and Neurobiology at the University of Connecticut faculty are leaders in their fields and work closely with students to conduct cutting-edge research. In addition to these advanced degrees in Physiology and Neurobiology, our department offers a one-year M.S. program in Surgical Neurophysiology for students who are interested in intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM).
Careers
Our students receive training in manuscript and grant writing, and are encouraged to present findings at local and national conferences. They also have an excellent record of continuing onto successful careers, ranking us among the top nationwide departments in post-doc and industry position placements according to the National Research Council.
