
Overview
This online graduate degree is geared toward students who hold an undergraduate degree in engineering, computer science, math, physics or another related area, as well as professionals already working in the industry. However, you do not need a STEM background to be successful in this program.
Courses will explore key areas inherent to the industry’s space mission programs. Core classes include space mission operations, spacecraft systems, system safety, human factors, space law and more, which provide you with the knowledge and skills desired by national space agencies, commercial space companies and military organizations alike.
About Space Operations at the Worldwide & Online Campus
The Space Operations program from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University takes a balanced approach with an integrated curriculum rooted in the key areas of domain awareness, technical understanding and functional execution.
In this 30-credit hour online degree program, you will learn how to apply the STEM principles and theory necessary for conducting spaceflight operations and create strategies for developing space capability and executing spaceflight missions.
