About this Program
Welcome to the University of New Haven’s Master’s in Investigations, the first degree of its in kind in the nation! The degree is 100% online, consists of 10 courses, and can be completed in as little as one year. The online M.S. in Healthcare Fraud, Waste, & Abuse (FWA) Investigations provides students with background knowledge of and requisite insight into one of the fastest-growing areas of white-collar investigations.
Students of this online Master’s in Healthcare Fraud, Waste, and Abuse program at University of New Haven will gain an awareness and in-depth understanding of healthcare FWA from a variety of perspectives, including those of frontline investigators and analysts who have worked the broad types of schemes perpetuated by those intent on stealing the precious healthcare dollars that we all need. Students will learn and understand the unique language and landscape particular to healthcare FWA investigations, with a focus on the schemes causing pervasive fraud; the techniques used to identify perpetrators; and how the law enforcement, regulatory, and commercial communities work to uncover and prevent healthcare fraud.
Students have the opportunity to “build their own” degree based on experience, career goals, or other factors such as working in the private sector. All of our instructors are leading experts, with extensive experience, in their field of investigations.

- Transcripts (in English) from all colleges or universities attended. Transcripts must be submitted in sealed envelopes and mailed directly to the admissions office. If official documents are unavailable, unofficial documents can be uploaded through the online application system for initial review only. However, all official documents must be received before the start of classes for the admitted semester.
