Overview
About this faculty
Master’s program of discrete mathematics started in 1988 and many students graduated in different fields of this branch (e.g., algebra, analysis, geometry, graph theory, and combination). You can learn more with this master in Applied Mathematics at Shahid Beheshti University.
The group commenced presenting a PhD degree in different fields of functional analysis, algebraic structures, and dynamic systems in 1994. Given the capabilities of the department of statistics, an applied statistics research center with two research groups, namely, statistical project and analysis and statistical modeling, were established. The goals of the research groups are performing quantitative research that requires statistics and providing statistical consultation to all applicants within and outside the university. The faculty has been hosting the national and international conferences.
