About the Faculty
This faculty has six associate professors, 16 assistant professors and seven lecturers and includes 3 educational and research departments, each department concentrates on the following major topics:
- Applied physics:Condensed Mater, Laser and Optics, Plasma.
- Fundamental physics: Astrophysics, Cosmology, Gravitation, Mathematical Physics, Particle Physics.
- Multidisciplinary Physics: Climate, Econo-Physics
The faculty has 17 laboratory units and two libraries containing more than 6000 titles of books in Persian, 4600 titles in English, and 50 titles of magazines. The faculty focuses on vast areas of advanced technologies such as microelectronics applications, elementary particles and complex systems.
