About the Faculty

The faculty has 60 full time academic staff and about 30 visiting lecturers. The faculty enjoys a library containing 10,000 books in Persian and 7,800 books in other languages and an archive and an architectural research center. It aims to carry out applied research, cooperation with other research institutions, contribute to educational and research programs, as well as support individual scholars. It has a document and a research division. The document division holds more than 8000 documents with a digital database and 8000 drawings of historical cities and buildings around Iran. The faculty includes various design studios, and a construction workshop with carpentry, joinery, and welding equipment. An exhibition hall with illumination and partitioning equipment and two conference halls with audio-visual equipment are among the other facilities.
