Key facts:
- The Master of Public Health degrees at the New Mexico State University include one with a concentration in Health Behavior and Health Promotion (HBHP) and one with a concentration in Health Management, Administration, and Policy (HMAP).
- We deliver the HBHP degree program via traditional, on-campus format and online via distance education technology. We deliver the HMAP concentration via online format only. All students in our graduate degree programs are assigned a faculty advisor to assist them throughout their tenure in the program.

MPH students master core competencies during the program providing a strong academic foundation for careers in public health or further graduate study. Our students become successful health professionals and leaders, often working with diverse populations.

- A graduate international student must hold at minimum a four year bachelor’s degree or its equivalent and is able to demonstrate English proficiency, both written and oral by submitting an official TOEFL or IELTS score report.
