Health Sciences - International Public Health at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam will train you to cooperate and communicate with professionals from various scientific and medical disciplines, as well as representatives of public health and related organisations (such as patient organisations), and focus on health problems in a global context. 

Overview

You’ll become familiar with the relevant methods and techniques needed to analyse international health issues from an interdisciplinary perspective, and learn the limitations of these methods and techniques.

You will gain proven knowledge and understanding of interdisciplinary research aimed at solving international public health issues.

You will know and understand the concepts and theories that support effective communication and collaboration. Health Sciences - International Public Health  is offered at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

Future:

You will be skilled at suggesting relevant interventions based on evidence from empirical epidemiologic population studies. You will also be able to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders in the field of Health Sciences. Finally, you will contribute to a multi- or interdisciplinary approach to health problems, health promotion and healthcare in a national or international context.

In order to gain admission to the Health Sciences Master’s programme, you will need to have at least a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited research university including at least three full years of academic study amounting to a minimum of 180 ECTS or equivalent. We do not require a GRE or GMAT test score.
